Bob Dylan

"you got a lotta nerve,
to say you are my friend,
when i was down,
you just stood there grinning"

on november 5th 1997 i saw Bob Dylan in concert in Charleston, WV.  i took these photos from that concert.  a year later i would see him again.

Bob Dylan came here to Huntington on november 6th.  i asked my friend Natalie to come with me.  more people went to go see this Dylan show than the last concert and i enjoyed this Dylan concert more than the previous year.  however, i think many went to go see Bob Dylan because it is Bob Dylan.  i think they were expecting him to come out with this acoustic guitar and play songs like "Blowing in the Wind" & "Mr. Tambourine Man", but he has been playing electric for decades.

the audience just sat there for the first half of the concert.  the security there would sit someone right back down if they stood up.  later though when people got enough alcohol/drugs in them they all moved up to the front.  Natalie & i were close to the stage already, but we then able to get right to the front.

Bob Dylan

Dylan sang most of his hits like "It Ain't Me Babe", "Subterranean Homesick Blues", & a few off of his new album "Time Out Of Mind".  he really just came out sang for a little over hour or so and left.  he didn't say anything really, but it was still great to see such an artist like Bob Dylan.

Bob Dylan

i have been a Bob Dylan since my first years of high school.  my favorite song is "Subterranean Homesick Blues" and i have most of his albums on vinyl or cd.
